Blindness & Light Make a Comeback With Their Self-Titled Post Punk Album

From The Old Skylight to The Ballad of Them And Us, it’s clear that Blindness & Light is ready to open the era of post-punk and indie with their upcoming debut album. This self-titled release is set to be one of the most inspiring offerings of the year and a necessary offering of catharsis in the world of modern music.

Leading the way is Blindness & Light, who is no stranger to vulnerability and sorrow. Writing and producing each track with help from their friends and family, the 8-track record is more than just a successful musical venture. After a tragic near-death hit-and-run experience, the artist behind the project re-evaluated his life’s direction, leading to the completion of his PhD in environmental biotechnology and this upcoming musical journey into the soundscape of post-punk and indie.

“If The Smiths were to have a child with Joy Division and Radiohead raised it, the chances are likely it would be Blindness & Light” – The Other Side Reviews

The project is further accentuated with outside help from Mike Juvenile (KEEF) on their side project Radio Psychosis. Blindness & Light is also bringing in Henry Priestman, formerly The Christians member, performing additional harmonica and melodica on the ballad The Ballad of Them and Us, and even taking it a step further with a Ynys Môn mix specifically created for the single release.

This thrilling combination of modern production and vintage post-punk and indie sound will be released on all digital platforms on July 1st, 2023, as well as CD and limited vinyl for purchase. With merch available on Amazon worldwide, this album is sure to make waves in the post-punk and indie scenes. Be sure to check out Blindness & Light’s upcoming debut and take a journey through a soundscape like no other.
