For all fans of post-punk and indie, look no further than Blindness & Light and their self-titled debut album which is now available online.
Their sound is inspired by the 80s post-punk movement and combines cutting-edge production with evocative and emotive melodies. Leading up to the full album release are two singles, “The Old Skylight” and “The Ballad of Them and Us”.
The Old Skylight was released on May 3rd, 2023, and was recorded with the help of the artist’s friends and family. The powerful Ballad of Them and Us has an additional guest performance from Henry Priestman of the band “The Christians”. The story of Blindness & Light is an inspirational one. Following a horrific hit-and-run accident that left the artist for dead, they’ve since completed their PhD and are now poised to release their debut album.
Also working on a side project – “Radio Psychosis” – with collaborator Mike Juvenile. Blindness & Light will be available in a range of formats, including digital download, CD and 100 limited-release vinyls.
