KOMBY DOT IO is approaching Pattern as more than a collection of separate songs. The forthcoming 14-track album mirrors the 14 steps of his Construire Komby journal, translating an autobiographical framework into a musical sequence. Its organizing idea is progression: each release is intended to reveal another part of a life shaped by risk, setbacks, entrepreneurship, and reinvention.
The sequence begins with the deliberately enigmatic “Komby Komby,” then moves toward greater clarity with “Make It Easy.” “I Left My Fears Behind” brings courage and uncertainty to the foreground, while “Higher” explores vulnerability, loss, and rebuilding. “Journey” gathers those themes together before later tracks broaden the perspective. The stated emotional arc moves through mystery, meaning, courage, pain, growth, and expansion.
That structure reflects the different identities KOMBY DOT IO has developed over time. He has worked as a chef, spent nearly ten years in French radio, founded a music label, built a digital marketing agency, and developed a hospitality-focused technology ecosystem. Music remained present through those transitions, and Pattern now gives it the central role in recounting the sacrifices, isolation, ambition, and achievements associated with that history.
The project is still taking shape, with six songs completed and a gradual rollout planned rather than an immediate full-album release. Two videos are already out, with another on the way, and the campaign is set to begin in September.
